Winter Solstice Cold Full Moon Circle Dance & Gathering
The darkest nights, the shortest days. A big white moon guides our way. Let's circle together and warm our dancing hearts to carry us through the winter days.

About the Event
An afternoon of circle dances in alignment with the sacred patterns of the Winter Solstice. We dance in moving mandala, dancing stone henge formation to honor the return of the light in the darkest night.
We will dance traditional Balkan, Rom, Armenian, Near Eastern and modern sacred circle dances.
Throughout all ages and cultures, traditional circle dances are used to honor the divine, heal, affirm connections to the earth and each other, build community and celebrate rites of passages and life transitions. Many of the dances originated in European Indigenous cultures embodying a worldview which honored the earth, the body, and the divine feminine.
The dances are joyful, meditative, mournful, full of beauty, longing, life, and celebration!
This is a family-friendly dance; all are welcome.
We hopefully will dance outside, around a fire, dress warm. We may also dance with the horses!
