For this small-batch syrup, I used Elderberries and the plus is Rose Hips.

Rose hips have been used as herbal aid for more than 2,000 years.  Rose hips are famously high in Vitamin C though with drying the Vitamin C wanes yet is still full of it.

Rose hips support decreasing systemic and chronic inflammation. This is especially beneficial for your heart health and for decreasing arthritic pain.

With their bioflavonoids and other antioxidants, roses can be wonderful for modulating inflammation. Click HERE for Rose Hip Benefit article by Rosalee de la Forét for more.

Elderberries have a long history of medicinal use in Europe and many a lore to be told.

Elderberries contain Vitamins A, B, and C, as well as tannins, amino acids, and flavonoids (including some that are powerful antioxidants).
