About the Event

Come join hands with your sisters, in circle, as weave into the web of universal sacred patterns. An winter afternoon of circle dances in alignment with the sacred patterns.  We dance in moving mandala, dancing stone henge formation to honor the returning light in the still long dark days.

We will dance traditional Balkan,  Rom, Armenian, Near Eastern and modern sacred circle dances.

Throughout all ages and cultures, traditional circle dances are used to honor the divine, heal, affirm connections to the earth and each other, build community and celebrate rites of passages and life transitions. Many of the dances originated in European Indigenous cultures embodying a worldview which honored the earth, the body, and the divine feminine.

This Circle is for  you if you want to:

*Align with earth based European Indigenous traditional women's dances

* Feel the embrace of ancient embodied grandmother wisdom

*Be in embodied women's community prayer

*Deepen your connection to women’s traditions

*Be a part of a women's ancient lineage built on respect, honor, shared leadership and wisdom

*Experience a form of body chanting

*Experience personal healing and nourish your body, mind, and soul

*Feel the alchemy of  sacred plant tea ceremony and dance

*Align yourself more deeply with the cosmos's rhythms and cycles

*Attune to the seasonal  transitions through earth body aligned practices

*Be a dancing constellation

The dances are joyful, meditative, mournful, full of beauty, longing, life, and celebration!

Registration is necessary so I can plan accordingly.
