Anointing by allowing your skin to drink these all plant and nut-based elements is one of the most healing rituals you can do for yourself on many levels. Touching yourself along the edges that makes you, You, is a way of affirming your being, your existence. Doing it with intention and love and with the elements of my body butter can deepen your sense of love and belonging on this sacred earth and as a loved being of Mother Earth. Your body is a conduit. A portal to your best-lived life. Your skin is the gateway between the worlds of inner and outer. I LOVE My Body! Butter is not a surface thing. It goes deep.
My intention for you is that as you anoint your sacred self with this silky buttery all-natural goodness, you consciously truly feel absolute love for your body. Your body is your temple, and the simple ritual of applying this butter to your largest organ-your skin-can be deeply healing and empowering, not only for the natural goodness of all the ingredients you know your pores are lusting after but for the divine relationship you can deepen to your body/your self. Cherish your divine self.
I've been deepening my skills into handcrafted herbal oils and body butters in order to provide me and all my loved ones, including you! with higher healing quality products. In loving our bodies we want everything we put on and in our bodies to be as full of healing and wholeness as possible. Much of what’s out there is full of chemicals, even the natural stuff. What I’m learning now from Kami Mcbride takes my herbal products to another level. This is lavender body butter's color and smell is brilliant because of my new techniques that break down and capture so much more of the healing essence of the plant. There are no essential oils in this body butter. The aroma is the pure essence of the whole plant. Essential oils are fine in limited use but a ton of the plant is used for very little essential oil. It’s wasteful and can be irritating and toxic to some. I love being able to smell the lavender in this more whole and natural form.
Lavender can be soothing for headaches, rub it on your temples and the back of your neck. It’s cooling. It’s can be especially good for tension headaches. Lavender has an anti-spasmodic activity that helps with muscle pain and spasms and topical inflammation. It can be good for sleeplessness, lavender produces a calming, soothing effect just inhaling it. It’s good for restlessness. This herb is a very restorative, healing herb. Lavender is rebuilding, for skin regeneration. It’s not for the acute stage of a wound, but after the skin is rebuilding, after it’s already healing. Lavender can strengthen the nervous system.
Lavender, the root word, comes from the Latin, “lavae,” (phonetic) which means, “to wash.” There are lots of long tradition of it being used for cleansing and purification to relax, clear, and release.
Mango seed butter contains vitamins A, C, and E, all of which have proven antioxidant properties. It's excellent for skin that doesn't need a lot of extra moisture but can benefit from anti-aging properties.
Shea butter is one of the most well-known nut butter. It is rich in nutritious fatty acids, and it also has anti-inflammatory properties, ideal for damaged and irritated skin. It's also rich in vitamin E and can help fight the effects of aging.
