White Peony Tea, also known as Bai Mu Dan, originates from China’s Fujian Province. This delicate white tea consists of new leaves and the bud of the tea plant Camellia Sinensis. When harvested, the buds are still closed with the leaves surrounding them, giving the appearance of a flower, hence the name ‘White Peony.’
Organic white peony tea is picked early in the season when the buds are still fresh, young and tender. Because of this early picking, the taste white tea produces is very mild and sweet without the sometimes astringent qualities of regular green teas.
The tea is rich in polyphenols, antioxidants known to combat free radicals in the body, reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
Studies suggest that regular consumption of White Peony Tea can lower bad cholesterol levels, promoting heart health.
The tea can improve digestion, relieving issues such as bloating and indigestion.
White Peony Tea has a distinctively light, floral, and slightly sweet flavor.
Rose is for love as we all know and feel. It nurtures the physiological- spiritual-emotional heart. Useful for trauma, grief, depression with deep sorrow, anxiety (especially heart-based), heartbreak. Moves stuck grief so it can be processed. Heart-opening, and well-known flower of love and devotion that balances heart-opening with protection (thorns). Excellent for boundary work.Rose removes unwanted energy and helps to bring strength and protection to the spiritual body, it also does this physically. Rose is an excellent simple astringent along with most members of the rose family. It tightens and tonifies inflamed tissue, both topically and internally where the medicine makes contact. While this sounds simple – it is really quite profound. An astringent will tighten the puffiness and help remove excess fluid – allowing for better nutrient and waste transport. Everything works better and heals more quickly. Much of disease is caused by inflammation and lack of resistance to disease because of poor tissue tone.
